Am I not destroying my enemies when I make friends of them?

I admire the man who said this. Some interesting , inspiring information on his life as below.

1) Lincoln was self educated. Most of his reading are from borrowed books. He once have walked twenty miles to borrow a book.

2)He was a local wrestler when he was young, yet did not like hunting and fishing as he was against the idea of illing animals even for food

3)Lincoln was a most notable criminal lawyer who scientifically proved that an eyewitness lied on the stand

4) Lincol resorted to Humor whenever he needed to resolve the gloom
